Friday Kirtan Meditation (2nd & 4th Friday of the month)

December 9, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us for Sacred Kirtan Meditation to soothe the soul

Join our Kirtan meditation circle at the CWA hall in Gordon St on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month!

Kirtan meditation is a unique experience that will transport you to a world of inspiration, peace and joy, far beyond the stress and worries of life. Our Kirtan sessions weave live music with sacred yoga chants in a relaxed, uplifting atmosphere where you can easily experience spiritual connection. Often described as “meditation of the heart”, Kirtan is the hearing and singing of mantras in a group setting that is interactive and beautifully immersive.

Everyone is looking for real and lasting connection in their life. Kirtan nourishes the soul’s deepest needs by reconnecting us to our spiritual source and reawakening the spiritual love within our hearts.

Whether you regularly engage in meditation or are new to the experience, we encourage you to come along and join us for a special night of connection and community.

Delicious chai and dessert will be served after our meditation session.

Cost: please register a free ticket at the link – donations are very welcome on the night to help us with running costs.

Remaining dates for 2022:

Friday 9th and 23rd December

What to bring: Whatever you need to comfortably sit for the session, chairs are provided but if you prefer to sit on a cushion please BYO.

Meet your meditation hosts:

Chris and Anna have been sharing the gifts of meditation and yoga for over 20 years and 15 years respectively. The path of Bhakti Yoga has been their guiding light through all of the ups and downs that this life brings. Over the years they have offered classes at different meditation studios, community centers, organisations, universities and festivals around Australia.

As well Yoga and Meditation, Chris has a background in counselling and Anna is an Ayurvedic Practitioner. They are down to earth folk who try to live in a holistic way that supports a healthy balance of mind, body and spirit while most importantly, trying to cultivate their spiritual garden. More than anything else, Chris and Anna find great joy in trying to be of service to others and attempting to help people on their spiritual journey to find inner peace and happiness.
