This exhibition profiles key moments from the gallery’s flagship exhibition series looking to contemporary art in the Asia Pacific Region. Works of art commissioned or collected from APT1 (1993) through to APT9 (2018-19, display APT’s embrace of contemporary art in all its forms— from the ceremonial to the conceptual, and the deeply personal to the resolutely social.
‘Asia Pacific Contemporary: Three Decades of APT’ is a touring exhibition developed by the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art.
This event will be Auslan interpreted & amplified for patrons with hearing difficulties.

• Photography Permission: Please be aware that all programs may be filmed and posted to Artspace Mackay website and Facebook page to provide access to those unable to attend the session. Filming will focus on the presenter but may include attendees. Do not attend if you do not wish to be filmed.
