Join artists Jemima Wyman and Mandy Quadrio as they each discuss their latest exhibitions on show in the Main Gallery, and the Foundation Gallery at Artspace Mackay.

Palawa artist Jemima Wyman’s exhibition ‘Crisis Patterns’ presents work from the last decade using collage across paper, digital and textile media to explore global protest movements.

Mandy Quadrio is a Trawlwoolway and Laremairremener woman and this latest exhibition responds to her family’s unbroken Indigenous maternal lineage from Lutriwita reaching back 60,000 years.

This talk will be Auslan interpreted & amplified for patrons with hearing difficulties.

• Consider carefully your availability to attend the event BEFORE making your booking. Booking cancellations – especially late cancellations – can mean that we may not be able to fill that place, rendering it a lost opportunity for another community member.

• A reminder notification will be sent 24 hours prior to the program. If you are unable to attend, please cancel through eventbrite, or contact Artspace Mackay ASAP on 4961 9722 to advise so they may remove you from the list manually.

• Photography Permission: Please be aware that all programs may be filmed and posted to Artspace Mackay website and Facebook page to provide access to those unable to attend the session. Filming will focus on the presenter but may include attendees. Do not attend if you do not wish to be filmed
