⭐ Movie Matinee – A Boy Called Christmas (Rating: PG)

An ordinary young boy called Nikolas sets out on an extraordinary adventure into the snowy north in search of his father who is on a quest to discover the fabled village of the elves, Elfhelm.

Taking with him a headstrong reindeer called Blitzen and a loyal pet mouse, Nikolas soon meets his destiny in this magical, comic and endearing story that proves nothing is impossible. Adapted from the best-selling book by Matt Haig.

This event is for children aged five to 12 years.

Mackay Regional Council Library Service is compliant with the requirements of the Queensland “Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act (2000)”

Children 8 years old and under must be supervised by a responsible person who is 16 years or older. Supervision requires that the person be within sight of the child at all times.

Children between the ages of 9 and 11 years old must have a parent, guardian, carer or sibling (12 years and older) in the building and providing active supervision.
