Author Behind the Book

Kathleen was born in Mackay in 1957 at the Lister Hospital and has lived in Mackay for the majority of her life. She has also resided in Mt Isa, Hervey Bay, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne however always finds her way back to Mackay.

Married for 30 years with three children and two grandchildren, attending St Mary’s Primary school and then Our Lady of Mercy College in her early years.

Kathleen decided to write her biography after her Husband, who she had slowly told her life stories to, kept saying “you need to write a book”.

She also wanted to write her book to show people that although you may have experienced bad things and had a rough life that you can still be good person and eventually find love and happiness.Bookings are not required but you can book a ticket and get a reminder prior to the event.
